Article: Now: All organic oils!

Now: All organic oils!

We’re proud to announce that our foaming hand soaps are now made with exclusively organic oils! Along with organic coconut, palm and sunflower oils, our new organic extra-virgin olive oil can be found in both our foaming hand soaps and bar soaps. The olive oil, which comes from Columbus Vegetable Oils in Illinois, is guaranteed to contain no pesticides or chemical fertilizers because of its organic certification. The ‘extra-virgin’ categorization denotes the way the oil was obtained from olive trees. Extra-virgin is actually the highest quality olive oil you can find. It’s pure, untreated, and maintains all of the olive flavors and scents. On top of that, extra-virgin unrefined oil contains more natural vitamins and minerals than refined olive oil. (Definitely good enough to eat!)

So what does this mean for our soaps? Well, first off, the new organic olive oil helps ensure that our foaming hand soaps have a beautiful clear, golden color. But most importantly, they quality of the oil helps produce a soap that leaves hands feeling soft and moisturized after every use. You’re also guaranteed to never come in contact with any artificial additives that could be found in non-organic oils. Since our skin absorbs 80% of what it comes in contact with, it’s important that our soaps do not contain any unwanted chemicals!

On top of that, extra-virgin olive oil naturally contains important antioxidants and anti-inflammatories that refined and non-organic oils don’t have. We’re so excited to be using all organic oils in our foaming hand soaps. We hope you’ll notice the difference!
